8775 Death Camp of Tolerance 8776 is considered one of the series 8767 turning-point moments, where the most common target of Parker and Stone 8767 s ire was gradually switching from needling conservative bugbears to prodding the 8775 sacred cows 8776 of their largely progressive-leaning showbiz contemporaries a move that served to (for a time) differentiate the irreverent series from their TV comedy peers, who had otherwise largely united around knocking the Bush Administration. The premise is clever enough: Mr. Garrison performs increasingly obscene gay sex acts in his classroom in a bid to get fired and sue for discrimination, but the kids are punished for being 8775 intolerant 8776 of his sexuality instead.
Kenny has also been known to detest or mock Cartman on occasion, such as when Cartman degraded NASCAR fans by crashing a stolen car into a lake in Poor and Stupid - Kenny stormed down to Cartman's house to yell at him (nearly destroying the door in the process) - he was even prepared to kill Cartman in defense of NASCAR's reputation. He also laughed when Kyle and Stan abandoned Cartman for cheating at a war game when he yelled "I can play with myself all day!" in " Clubhouses ". In " Jakovasaurs ", Kenny got mad at Cartman again when he started claiming he hated Kenny. He then tried to distract Cartman by pretending to be a new species of antelope (so that the Jakovasaurs could be smuggled to France), but instead got mauled by a bear.
Kenny dressed up as a pregnant underage girl to get morning-after abortion pills (though the only thing he wore was a long, blond wig) in " Cartman Joins NAMBLA ". He dressed up and posed as Michael Jackson's son in " The Jeffersons " as Blanket Jackson. He also acted in the episode " . " as a wrestler. He was also part of the South Park Elementary school Christmas play in " Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo ".
Although Kenny and Stan don't seem to share the same bond that Stan and Kyle do, Stan does seem to think of Kenny as a close friend. In " Kenny Dies ", out of the 8 boys, Stan has the hardest time dealing with Kenny dying, and can't even bear to see him in the hospital. When Stan finally realizes that Kenny passed on "for good", he feels like he's Kenny's worst friend (until they hear about Cartman's selfishness). The two boys often hang out with one another when Cartman and Kyle get into their arguments and Stan and Kenny don't want to listen to it, such as in " The Passion of the Jew ". In " Best Friends Forever ", Stan and Kyle fight against Cartman to not have Kenny's feeding tube removed to save Kenny's life.
However, a funny thing has happened to the popular culture in the almost two decades since Jar-Jar Binks 8767 debut: Star Wars fandom has grown by leaps and bounds, and while 8775 original 8776 Gen-X fans like Parker and Stone tend to be reliably hateful of the character that same hate doesn 8767 t seem to be widely shared by the generation of fans who grew up with Binks (and The Prequels) as just one more part of the expansive Star Wars universe rather than a 8775 let-down 8776 after the long post-Jedi wait and one can only imagine that those same fans might wonder what, exactly, the episode-length joke of 8775 Jakovasaurs 8776 is actually meant to be in the first place.
In " How to Eat with Your Butt ", Kenny demonstrates his ability to stay perfectly balanced by doing a hand - stand for several minutes, with the constriction of his clothing on him, never falling or swaying.
Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick , voiced by Matt Stone , is one of South Park's main characters, along with Eric Cartman , Stan Marsh , and Kyle Broflovski. He first appeared in the short films both entitled The Spirit of Christmas in 6997 and 6995. He is voiced by Mike Judge in the feature film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and Eric Stough in the episodes " The Jeffersons ", " Lice Capades ", and " Mysterion Rises ".
Cartman has shown to get angry and defensive after Kenny has died, while Stan and Kyle take it like it's nothing and have sometimes used it to get what they want (such as asking for ice cream with butterscotch in " Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut "). He also seemed to be aware of Kenny dying in " Cartmanland ", but in " Mysterion Rises " Kenny said nobody noticed.
He does, however, make a major plot contribution near the end of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut , where Satan is willing to grant him one wish after he made him realize that Saddam Hussein was a bad lover Kenny wishes for everything to go back to normal and sacrificially risks returning to Hell in the process. Afterwards, all the Canadians are resurrected and the dark battlefield transitions into a grassy and bright atmosphere thanks to him. Because of his heroic sacrifice, he is admitted into Heaven as he initially desired, and gives everyone a happy end.
The Church of Scientology has not denied the stories of its beliefs, and Hubbard even gives a narration of the tale in "Going Clear" via a past recording.
Kenny is shown to be one of the more intelligent characters later on in the series along with Kyle, Stan, Jimmy, and Token. Kenny also seems to be good at Origami when you usually see him in his desk messing around with paper.
Unfortunately, despite the implications that 8775 Darth Chef 8776 might become a new recurring villain, any plans for such seemed to have been scuttled when Hayes died of a stroke a few years later. While a zombie version of Chef appears in the Stick of Truth video game, almost all reference to the character is absent from subsequent seasons rendering the otherwise extremely funny episode a somewhat grim euology rather than the snarky-strikeback it was intended as.
The episode follows character Stan, who, after taking a free test from the church, learns his results are so high that the leaders of the church have declared he’s the reincarnation of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Comedy Central
